In this role you’ll business partner an Area Vice President and have a dedicated client group, operating across the full generalist remit from strategic to tactical HR issues. As a highly driven, dynamic and commercial HR leader, you must have the commercial acumen, gravitas and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with senior leaders. You must also retain the detail conscious approach and mindset required to ensure that operational HR is delivered efficiently.

You and your small team will be challenged to work with your client group to achieve an ambitious plan and deliver significant added value. Some of your key deliverables will cover:

  • HR and Organizational transformation

  • Talent management, capability assessment and development

  • Performance and reward strategies and processes

  • Matrix working, aligning initiatives across the organization

  • Oversight of all HR generalist activities

To be successful in this demanding role you will be able to demonstrate the following required experience, knowledge, skills and ability in a career track record of adding value and making a difference:

Required Experience

  • BA/BS - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required

  • MA/MS - Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred

  • Significant HR experience in a Generalist capacity

  • Team management experience

  • PHR or SPHR preferred

  • Multi-site location experience required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Broad knowledge of Human Resources disciplines, which include: Staffing, Employee Relations, Engagement and Retention, Total Rewards, Labor Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Training/Management Development, policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and the proven ability to lead, motivate and organize teams

  • Working knowledge of Human Resource terminology, practices and their application required.

  • Strong PC and analytical skills (MS Office, HRIS)

  • Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management and staff.

  • Detail oriented with strong communication skills.

  • Experienced working in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task.

  • Occasional travel required
