Avis Budget Group Facilities Supervisor in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Job Summary

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and cost-effective day-to-day management of the maintenance and facilities/workplace services function at the Tulsa Customer Care Center. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective preventative and proactive program to ensure employee wellness/safety and create a great place to work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise preventative maintenance of all facility equipment and HVAC. Partner with landlord team as needed to complete this responsibility.

  • Schedules facility modifications, partner with corporate facilities, architects, contractors as needed. Prepare project plans, cost estimates and related purchase orders as needed. Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency.

  • Supervise internal team or contingent workers to repair and maintain facility. Schedules/coordinates repairs with landlord team for plumbing, electrical, roofing, landscape, etc., and receives estimates for services.

  • Plan and supervise facility central services such as, security, cleaning, waste disposal, weather preparations, mailroom and parking, etc.

  • Obtain quotes and payments from vendors and suppliers following procurement procedures. Coordinate PCard purchases for a variety of requests. Oversee pick-up and delivery of supplies needs for multiple departments.

  • Ensure delivery/mailroom schedules, quantity and quality criteria are met.

  • Partner with landlord facilities team to ensure ABG needs and priorities are fulfilled within SLA

  • Assure security of the facility. Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.

  • Act as first responder for urgent, unplanned/unexpected issues/problems with facility.

  • Monitor and oversee facility functions after hours as needed

  • Oversee and coordinate room set-ups and break down for events and meetings.

  • Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.

  • Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency

  • Generate and present regular reports and reviews of facility-related budgets, finances, contracts, expenditures and purchases.

Required Experience

  • Associate’s degree or higher education desired. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

  • Must have at least 2 years of Supervisor/Managerial experience and 5 years of experience in the facilities/maintenance field.

  • Experience in maintenance, construction, renovations, and all facets of property operation and building management is preferred

  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects and ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints is needed

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Knowledge of Corporate Mailroom/Records Retention and Purchasing

  • Knowledge of electrical and plumbing maintenance and repair

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while directing the work of others

  • Proficient PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
