Avis Budget Group Warranty Analyst in Tulsa, Oklahoma
The Warranty Analyst will process truck warranty claims in an accurate and timely manner, impacting the collection of warranty claims and dollars collected for the Budget Truck Group. Responds to manufacturer recalls and customer issues or concerns related to truck warranty and the filing of a claim/s. Review repairs entered into Tomcat, using skill and experience, to make decision, as to which repair/s must be filed based on time and mileage, and type of repair or trends. Prepare warranty claims for direct entry to manufacturer. Works and negotiates with manufacturer reps for repair payment based on warranty parameters and/or policy adjustment. Work with the field, Regional Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Managers, Field Maintenance Auditors, MAC’s and Outside Providers to gather repair orders which can be filed for warranty and dollars collected. Maintains database on a daily basis of claims received and filed, dollars filed against, product problems and reoccurring issues. Updates database with results after each meeting with an OEM or Outside Provider of parts or service .
Duties and Responsibilities:
Write and process truck warranty and warranty-related claims. Process recalls upon notification from the OEMs. Prioritize workflow of claims processing to meet overall warranty production goals.
Work within each month's specific revenue forecast. Review all repair billing avenues to capture repairs for potential after warranty adjustments along with base warranty and vehicle repair trends.
Report and escalate any unresolved issues or concerns to the Director of Maintenance or Warranty Supervisor for resolution within the appropriate timeframes.
Contact manufacturer’s representatives to schedule meetings to review claims for necessary approvals, good will adjustments and other processing issues and concerns.
Maintain files and books, including parts pricing and labor time standards, and perform related administrative responsibilities as needed or appropriate.
Perform other duties and special assignments as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
High school diploma required college or automotive related experience a plus.
2 years plus warranty related experience is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of policy, procedures and claim preparation for designated manufacturers (Ford, GMC and International along with Parts and Service Suppliers).
Strong administrative skills to include strong PC and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail. Ability to clearly and accurately document warranty information in a variety of formats.
Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills, which includes the ability to effectively communicate warranty information to a variety of audiences, including internal staff, manufacturers and customers, and the Strong follow-up skills and persistence to track all warranty claims or issues to a successful completion.
Basic math and analytical skills, ability to analyze warranty data and cost figures to determine areas of concerns or areas that require action.
Basic project management skills to administer a claim from beginning to end in an accurate and timely manner utilizing the necessary resources.
Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
