Title Clerk III / Wholesale Coordinator

Avis Budget Car Rental LLC is searching for a Clerk III /Wholesale Coordinator to join our Titles & Deletions Department based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Titles & Deletions business encompasses acquisition of title assets, federal and state compliance of titling documentation and application of sales proceeds throughout the Avis Budget CAR rental LLC (ABCR) fleet lifecycle.

This position contributes to the success of this department by providing effective, accurate and timely administrative support to ABCR field units and auctions throughout North America. This associate will be responsible for performing multiple tasks designed to achieve timely disposal of fleet rental vehicle assets as they are offered for sale through the accuracy of title transfer in efforts to satisfy sales transactions. This associate regularly conducts critical communications with ABG Wholesale managers at local, regional and national levels to ensure successful completion of the vehicle sales and turn back process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The essential duties and responsibilities as well as knowledge, skills and abilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Researching title issues and retrieving titles needed to complete sales transaction and acquire monies owed for sold vehicles.

  • Daily follow up action with automobile auctions representatives to ensure receipt of funds

  • Provide comprehensive monitoring and tracking, utilizing sales reports and summaries, UPS package tracking and departmental inventory reports created from the ABCR mainframe database.

  • Perform vehicle deletion functions using ABCR unique software and documentation provided by automobile auctions.

  • Maintaining weekly reports and participating in weekly conference with the National Wholesale Sales Manager.

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma

  • 2 years administrative experience

  • Prior rental experience a plus.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced PC skills including knowledge of Excel and Access

  • Detail orientated, excellent communication and organization skills
