As a Manager Accounts Receivables you will supervise the Accounts Receivables function and staff and track and perform various accounts receivable transactions. You will be responsible for invoicing and collecting on outstanding accounts for Avis Budget Group. You will be extending credit and approving credit applications through Avis Budget Group approved policies and procedures. You will also handle daily bank deposits and enter payments and adjustments. You will assist with providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. You will work closely with all administration staff and coordinate with various functions and operations staff to ensure all outstanding receivable variances and issues are resolved. You will contribute to the development of processes and procedures to detect and investigate variances in receivable reporting.
Basic Qualification / Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree or technical school is preferred.
A minimum of five years accounts receivable experience, to include supervisory responsibilities for accounts receivable clerks and office administration are required for this position along with accounts credit approvals and familiarity with collection agency processes.
Minimum of five years office administrative duties.
Knowledge of the rental vehicle industry and prior supervisory experience is preferred.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Ability to provide work direction to a team of accounts receivable clerk.
Strong time-management and multitasking skills and capable of determining priorities in a fast paced, changing environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and good decision making skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers.
Strong organization and administration skills and detail orientation to ensure day to day smooth operations and to keep detailed, accurate records.
Must have a drive for achieving results and ability to convey a sense of urgency when needed.
Excellent computer skills including Excel spreadsheet knowledge.
Bilingual (English/French) an asset.
Travel depending on district/territory visits to outlying locations may be required.
