As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be based at our Toronto Lester B. Pearson airport location and work closely with a TA Manager to lead recruitment for all field based operational roles across your assigned area in Canada.

To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:

  • Adheres to an effective and consistent recruitment process and identifies opportunities with in the process to add value, improve quality, internal customer service, etc.

  • Identifies trends in market to attract top talent and utilizes social media, focused networking and targeted recruitment initiatives to resource candidates.

  • The credibility and excellent communication skills to effectively interface with all levels of management, to build and maintain internal and external relationships and to be an exemplary ambassador for the Avis Budget Group employer brand in the candidate market

  • The resilience to operate effectively in a matrix organization within a fast-paced industry, during a period of significant change and growth

  • Critically, you must display a high sense of urgency and the ability to work under pressure dealing with multiple competing priorities and a demanding workload

  • Interviews and assesses candidates (in person or phone screens) using behavioral, competency-based interviewing techniques

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree

  • An experienced recruitment professional with a minimum of 2 years working experience

  • Thorough understanding of full life cycle recruitment processes

  • Ability to build a network across industries to identify future talent

  • Proven experience with process and applicant tracking systems

  • Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills
