Avis Budget Group Business License Administrator in Parsippany, New Jersey

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project management to apply for an obtain and maintain licenses for car dealerships nationwide. This would include Certificate of Operation, business licenses, and dealer licenses.

  • Ensure business licenses compliance with company standards, local and federal laws.

  • Foster strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive licensing documentation.

  • Report and escalate to management as needed.

Required Experience

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any formal supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications (may vary by level)

  • Previous experience applying for and obtaining business licenses.

  • Previous experience applying for and obtaining dealer licenses.

  • Previous experience working with government agencies.

  • Licensed Notary Public is a plus.

  • Strong administrative experience.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of business licensing processes, including zoning laws and licensing requirements required.

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
