Avis Budget Group Internal Reporting Analyst in Parsippany, New Jersey
Avis Budget Group is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join our team as an Analyst of Internal Reporting and to be an integral part of our performance management center of excellence.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to gain experience with best-in-class financial consolidation and reporting tools as we deploy Oracle’s cloud EPM suite. We are transforming our accounting and finance function and transitioning Internal Reporting to become part of our global performance management center of excellence and are looking for a professional with the right mix of accounting knowledge, analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
You will play an important role in our transformation by working on a team designing and deploying business solutions which enable enhanced reporting capabilities. You will be a key part of our data and reporting governance process helping drive data integrity across applications and improving decision making. You will assist with the financial consolidation, perform financial analyses, prepare consolidated financial statements, and perform other procedures to facilitate the monthly close and reporting process. You will also participate in the integration of acquisitions into the consolidated financial statements and other non-routine transactions.
You should be outgoing, motivated, intellectually curious, and have experience trouble-shooting and resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.

Prepare financial consolidation
Perform financial statement analyses
Coordinate with accounting and finance process owners globally
Provide training and assistance to new and existing users
Provide overall financial reporting support to the organization’s functions and special project requests
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervision responsibilities.
Qualifications (may vary by level)
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
One or more years of experience
CPA or CPA candidate is preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of accounting concepts under US GAAP
Ability to analyze financial statements
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
Ability to work independently and in team setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Detail and deadline orientated individual
FCCS, Hyperion Financial Management or Essbase knowledge is a plus
Travel Requirements: No travel required.
