Avis Budget Group Senior Oracle Financials Business Analyst - Quote to Cash (QTC) in Parsippany, New Jersey
Avis Budget Group is seeking talented and motivated financial systems professionals to join our Corporate Financial Systems (CFS) team. We are transforming our finance function and transitioning the Financial Systems team to become the global center of expertise for best-in-class financial processes and systems solutions and are looking for professionals with the right mix of technical and analytical skills, problem solving ability and finance or accounting experience.
The Senior Oracle Financials Business Analyst will be a key member of the CFS team, providing daily support for Oracle production, enhancement projects and strategic initiatives related to the Oracle Fusion Financials solution. The primary focus of this position is Quote to Cash (QTC) processes. The individual in this role must have comprehensive systems implementation and administrative experience of QTC processes, including but not limited to AR invoicing, AR receipts, trading community architecture, AR and Cash Management reconciliation, AR refund (AP Integration), SLA, advanced collections, AR accounting impacts and related AR configurations.
The individual will trouble-shoot issues, partner with Finance, Technology and the business, develop solutions, and evaluate and implement new functionality to ensure the users are leveraging the technologies to the fullest. Manage Oracle Fusion AR & Advanced Collections modules as a functional administrator performing system implementations, administration and daily support to existing applications.
Extensive experience in AR invoices interface design, billing processing, lockbox/receipts application and advanced collections processes.
Extensive experience in day to day functions within the AR module including customer maintenance, billing and receipts as well as complex interfaces with outside systems.
Work closely with Oracle development team in the creation, validation and maintenance of multifaceted user interfaces and functional/non-functional requirements.
Participate in the design, build and implementation of business system solutions to solve business requirements; help bridge the gap between ‘business problems’ and ‘technology solutions’.
Investigate system configuration options to provide functional expertise when developing solutions to meet business requirements; develop strategies to use standard functionality to meet business needs whenever possible.
Collaborate with technical development teams and coordinate work efforts when addressing new implementations, functionality enhancements, and application updates.
Prepare documentation on QTC processes and procedures, as well as maintain documentation to include any updates or changes to processes.
Provide training and assistance to new and existing users.
Conduct functional and technical analysis to support business requirements and development of associated functional and technical specifications.
Participate in new technology testing, development and support.
Assist in maintenance of interfaces to/from other applications of financial systems.
Act as liaison with IT and QTC functional users.
Assist with developing project plans for deployment of new technology.
Maintain knowledge of trends, developments and new technologies impacting the QTC Financial Systems function.
Participate in the strategic initiatives.
Job Qualifications (may vary by level)
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Systems or Business required.
4-6 years of experience implementing Oracle EBS R12 AR and Advanced Collections. Experience in Oracle Fusion AR is a plus.
Functional understanding of other Oracle modules, such as Payables, Assets, Projects and Procurement is a plus.
Highly experienced in QTC business transformation (including policy, process and systems) focused from finance perspective.
Understanding of Quote-To-Cash general business operations and internal controls; ability to assess and provide input into impact of a business process / system change.
Ability to troubleshoot and multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency.
Superior problem solving skills - must be resourceful and creative with solutions.
Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
Knowledge of My Oracle Support and the service request process.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently under time constraints and on projects of varying lengths.
Contribute individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office with a strong proficiency in Excel and Access and familiarity with other financial software applications.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel is required.
