Job Summary:

Provide timely and accurate service to customers with truck rental inquiries (calls and electronic) to recommend and reserve truck rentals for commercial account customers. Respond to customer inquiries and all questions regarding the services and fees provided in the contract; provide accurate rental rates and requirements, determine rental needs, make rental recommendations and enter reservations into the reservation system. Respond to customer concerns utilizing positive resolution techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process all incoming inquiries to secure truck rentals for Commercial Account customers.

  • Determine commercial account rental needs and make rental recommendations

  • Provide all customers with accurate rental rates and requirements regarding the services and fees provided in the contract.

  • Process inbound truck reservations after obtaining and verifying accuracy of required account information.

  • Confirm availability of trucks with dealers, Inventory Managers and/or Operations Managers.

  • Solicit accounts for additional rental reservations when appropriate and offer alternatives in order to gain customer’s commitment to rent.

  • Gather information on perspective commercial account customers and reasons for not selling reservations as requested by the Supervisor.


    Required Experience

  • High School diploma.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a high volume telephone contact center.

  • Experience in an inbound sales environment preferred.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Requires attention to detail, multi-tasking and the ability to work independently and in teams.

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook and keyboarding skills with above average speed and accuracy.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Good organizational skills and effective listening and telephone skills.

  • Ability to speak read and write English fluently.

  • Regular and punctual attendance required.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have formal supervision responsibilities.
