Avis Budget Group Representative I SBU Support in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Job Summary

Performs sales and account support related tasks for Avis Budget Group’s Small Business (SB) customers. Answers inbound calls from established customers and responds to their needs, identifies new needs, and provides solutions to meet customer requirements. Provides sales support directly to SB sales associates. Works within the context of achieving the overall goals for the Small Business Unit (SBU).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responds to customer requests in a timely and efficient manner

  • Reviews leads, verifies and qualifies information and then enters leads into Salesforce.com (SFDC) and converts them to accounts for distribution

  • Updates SFDC, handles customer support issues and explains rate changes

  • Explains SB loyalty program, answers program questions, educates customer and/account on rate structure and changes, credits loyalty points, re-issues loyalty rewards (if nec)

  • Creates/distributes scheduled requested reports, runs/delivers shared billing report to account, processes new enrollment submissions, handles account updates including cancel requests

  • Handles underage requests, sends account update forms, manages billing questions and disputes, processes SB loyalty information and Billing/Preferred applications

  • Process returned mail, including correcting and updating customer contact information in SFDC as needed

  • Assists in special projects that enhance the competitive position of the company as assigned by manager

  • Maintains updated account and business level information as required

  • Other duties as assigned

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    This position does not have formal supervision responsibilities.


Required Experience

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum two years sales or customer service experience or experience in an inbound high volume call center

  • The preferred candidate will have college coursework, Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams

  • Strong PC skills – including expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Good customer service skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

  • Effective telephone and listening skills

  • Ability to work in team environment

  • Regular and punctual attendance is required
