Avis Budget Group LLC. is searching for a Customer Service Representative.The primary function of this position is to analyze, adjust, and correspond with Budget Truck, ABG US and Canadian Central Billing Corporate and Tour accounts for a combined receivable of $418M annually in total inputs. Analysis should be explicit to payment data, customers’ disputes and other accounting related issues. Through the analysis process specific areas of opportunity should be identified and corrected for rate issues, billing inquiries, and partial payments. The Customer Care Research Specialist must identify trends in customer disputes and have the capacity to relate identified trending to other Budget Truck Commercial or Avis/Budget Central Billing accounts utilizing identical rate structures.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review disputed rentals for Corporate and Tour accounts to determine the nature of discrepancies.

  • Analyze transactions and identify problem areas as it relates to rate codes used by a multiplicity of accounts

  • Process adjustments upon a complete analysis of disputed items

  • Act as a liaison between field operations, sales, collections, WRC and Corporate/Tour account holders. Provide resolution to customer inquiries using multiple forms of communication ( via email, telephone, fax, etc…)

  • Maintain appropriate files, reports, documentation, and data.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Post High School Education Preferred

Experience

  • 2 years of Customer Service Experience Required

  • 2 Years of research analysis in the rental car industry preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, mathematical, and communication skills required

  • advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Outlook preferred.

  • Must have the ability to multitask, listen effectively, and work with all levels of management in a team environment
