Avis Budget Group LLC. is searching for a Unallocated Damage Coordinator. The primary functions of this position is to prepare heavy impact vehicle for deletion process utilizing various software application to determine correct title brand. Determine liability/Injury exposure and place vehicle on HOLD for 3r party vendor to determine Hold/Release. Research unallocated damage files to obtain accident information and expedite for potential billing/recovery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review estimate / photos verify VIN, mileage, license plate match

  • Determine if injury involved for potential liability exposure and place vehicle on hold if necessary

  • Perform vehicle trace movement via Wizard-Bluezone

  • Confirm applicable renter & rental, return date

  • Obtain WSV from monthly updated spreadsheet

  • Obtain FMV from AUDAEXPLORE web site

  • Verify incident/accident city/state

  • Apply all data obtained from above sequence into GOMDS application

  • Verify accuracy of data applied to prevent incorrect title brand application before & after completion

  • Review damage/photo documents via DMP application

  • Search potential accident document in DMP for possible match

  • Contact Field assigned UA Captains/Managers to coordinate obtainable accident information

  • Perform follow up on pending claims

  • Apply Case note on all unresolved files for future follow up

  • Coordinate with internal department (LPA, Impounds) to obtain relevant info

  • Convert/close claim utilizing DMP unallocated function

Education

  • High School or 2 year college

Experience

  • 1-2 years Customer Service

  • Insurance Claims back ground a plus.

  • Knowledge of auto body components helpful

  • Ability to multi task

  • Able to work with little or minimal supervision

  • Computer & typing Skills – Excel, Word
